Claude Code
One command signs you in and gives Claude Code 1DB’s tools through its MCP server. Then you ask in a sentence, and the agent adds the site, writes its keys into the project, wires the form and sends a test lead.
- MCP server
- Scoped tokens
How it works
- 1
Run setup once
npx @1db/cli setup opens your browser to sign in and approve access for one of your organizations, then adds 1DB’s MCP server to Claude Code.
- 2
Choose what it may do
The token carries only the scopes you approve: sites and leads by default, routing if it may send leads elsewhere. Delete stays off unless you turn it on.
- 3
Ask for the site
Say “set up 1db for northfieldpallets.com” and the agent creates the site and form, writes the keys into the project and sends a test lead.
npx @1db/cli setupGood to know
- The token stays on your computer
- It lives in ~/.config/1db/config.json, readable only by you. Projects only ever get a site’s ingest key.
- Only a person can make one
- Tokens are approved in the browser by an admin of the organization. An agent can’t create a token for itself.
